Well I have to admit I am really surprised at this point of the season, Bengals 6 wins and 2 losses...My preseason prediction was the Bengals would finish 6 & 10...well they have the 6...but hopefully they are on their way to a playoff berth.
So I stand with hat in hand, saying that my prediction was way off base, unless they go 0 & 8 the second half, which I doubt.....
Go Bengals, beat SteAlers.....that is where it will be.....
Seems like 2005 all over again....Bengals and SteAlers both finished 11 - 5....when Kimo the assassin took Palmers knee out....

I believe that once again the Bengal's will fall short of any goal that they have to make the playoffs in the 2009 season.
One thing for sure they MUST beat the Broncos in the opening game. If not, I feel that it will only down hill from there......
My prediction is that there record will be 6 wins with 10 losses.
Carson Palmer will have an injury plagued season, again. The defense will carry the team enough that they will have their chances to win games, but the offense will fall short. Maybe picking up Vick was not that bad of an idea.
Cedric Benson will get his 1,000 rushing. Any good running back should be able to do that with 16 games on the agenda. Chad the mouth will return to his level of greatness, but he better look out, because I predict that Chris Henry can blow right by him, as long as he can learn to block.
Andre Smith will be the latest first round draft pick of the Bengal's to fail and fail big time. He already has a good start on that. Holds out for a month and then second practice after he signs, he mysteriously has a stress fracture in his foot, non contact drills. Maybe he got hurt walking to his fridge before he signed.
If Marvin does not get it done this year, he and Bratkowski need to get out of town.
Sorry folks that I feel this way, but it is a reality. I quit hoping and getting my expectations high for this team some time ago.
In any event, tailgating is a good thing.
